Image Pixelate Tutorial
- Open your Paint Shop Pro Program.
- Open up the image of your choice.
- Then click Effects located on your toolbar.
- Located on the drop down menu is Distortion Effects.
- Once the side menu opens click on Pixelate.
- A new box should open named Pixelate.
- You should see two images. Before and After. The after is the one you will be making the Pixel boxes on.
- Now, below the images you should see Block Width and Block Height.
- Block Width deturmands how wide the pixel blocks will be. 1 being the smallest, and 100 being the lagrest.
- Block Height deturmands how tall your pixel blocks will be. 1 being the tallest, and 100 being the shortest.
- I will set my block width to 29 and my block height to 29 for this example.
- Once you get your pixel blocks the way you want, click OK.
- Now your image should have pixel boxes that are very blury.
- Return to your top tool bar, click edit.
- On the drop down menu click copy.
- Next hit control(Ctrl) Z. This should make the pixels disapear.
- Return to your top menu, and once agian click edit.
- Now you will want to click on Paste As New Layer. That should make the pixel boxes reapear.
- Now find your Layers tool bar. (everyone keeps theres in a diffrent place, mine is on the right hand side of the screen)
- You should see that your pixel image is above your original image.
- Now, move your fade bar down, to make the image fade. Make sure you have the pixel image selected.
- Stop when you get the fade you are looking for. I will be stoping at 57.
- Save you image and your done.
